Refund & Cancellation Policy

ResmiAI is free to start, and paid plans are monthly subscriptions you can cancel whenever you like. This policy explains exactly how billing, cancellation and refunds work. Current prices and credit allowances are always shown on the Pricing page.
1. Billing basics
- The free plan is free forever and never requires a card. It includes a monthly credit allowance.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled.
- All payments are processed securely by Stripe. ResmiAI never stores your full card details.
- AI operations consume credits at the published rates. Unused credits reset each cycle and do not roll over.
- Failed AI operations are never charged. Credits are reserved before an operation and only committed when it succeeds; on failure the reservation is released automatically.
2. Cancelling your subscription
Cancelling takes a few seconds and needs no support ticket:
- Open Settings in the app.
- Choose “Manage subscription” to open the secure Stripe billing portal.
- Cancel there, or switch plans. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If you also want a refund, email [email protected] with your account email and the date of the charge.
When you cancel, you keep full access to everything you paid for until the end of the current billing period, and you are not charged again. Your profile, documents and remaining credits for that period stay usable, and you move to the free plan at the end of the period.
3. Refund eligibility
We want the refund rules to be boring and predictable, not hidden. In short: if you were charged by mistake, or you barely used a period you just paid for, you get your money back.

| First paid subscription — within 14 days, credits already used | Pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the period, at our discretion and in good faith. We will always explain the calculation. |
| Renewal charge you did not intend | Refunded in full if requested within 14 days of the renewal and the new period is largely unused. Cancelling stops all future charges immediately. |
| Duplicate or accidental charge | Refunded in full — these are always our error to fix. |
| A paid AI operation failed or charged you twice | You are never charged for a failure. Credits are automatically released back to you; if a duplicate ever slips through, we refund it. |
| Service outage or a defect that blocked your work | We will refund the affected period or restore the equivalent credits — your choice. |
| EU/UK consumer withdrawal right (first purchase) | You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Because the service is digital and begins immediately, we may deduct the value of the service already provided, and by starting to use it promptly you acknowledge this. |
4. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] and include:
- The email address on your account.
- The date and amount of the charge you are asking about.
- A short description of the reason for the request.
We aim to respond within two business days. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method; depending on your bank or card issuer, the funds may take 5–10 business days to appear.
5. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first — almost every case is resolved faster than a chargeback. We cooperate fully with genuine disputes, and we retain the right to suspend accounts with fraudulent or abusive chargeback activity.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription, so cancel the subscription first if you do not want it to renew. Billing records are retained only as long as tax and accounting law requires.
