Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account or using any ResmiAI service, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the service. We ask you to confirm this acceptance explicitly when you sign in; acceptance is required to continue, and it is never buried in fine print.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service. If you use ResmiAI on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it.

2. The Service

ResmiAI uses artificial intelligence to generate documents such as CVs, cover letters, application emails and recruiter messages based on the career profile you provide and the job descriptions you paste. The service is provided “as is”, and output is generated to assist you — it is your responsibility to review and confirm the accuracy of any document before you submit it.

3. Accounts and sign-in

ResmiAI supports social-only sign-in through Google and LinkedIn; there is no password account. When you sign in, we receive only basic profile information (name, email address and profile picture) and we never request sensitive data through social login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the third-party accounts you use to sign in, and for all activity under your account.

4. Your content and ownership

You retain all rights to the profile information, job descriptions and documents you provide. You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use any CV or document you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service — nothing more.

5. AI output and its limits

AI-generated content may contain errors. We apply automated fact-checking and quality checks, but we do not guarantee that any output is complete, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose. It is your responsibility to verify every generated document before use.

ResmiAI does not:

• ❌Invent employment history.
• ❌Invent degrees or certifications.
• ❌Guarantee interviews.
• ❌Guarantee employment.
• ❌Guarantee that a resume will pass every ATS.
• ❌Automatically apply for jobs without your instruction.
• ❌Sell your resume to recruiters.

6. Usage credits and plans

The service includes a free plan with a monthly credit allowance and optional paid plans. AI operations consume credits according to the published rates shown on the Pricing page. Unused credits do not roll over. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel them from the billing portal at any time. We may change plans and pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Payments, billing and refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored by ResmiAI. Failed AI operations are never charged: credits are reserved and released automatically when an operation does not succeed. Cancellations, renewals and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

8. Privacy, data selling and advertising

• We do not sell or rent your data — to anyone, for any purpose.
• ResmiAI is ad-free. We do not show advertising or use advertising trackers.
• We measure usage in aggregate. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and features are used, so we can improve the service. It is never used for advertising, retargeting or profiling, and it never receives your CV, cover-letter or job-description content, your email address, your name or your tokens. • We never use your content to train AI models.
• We do not request sensitive data, and we keep collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

9. Security

Your data is protected with enterprise-grade security: encryption in transit and at rest, ownership checks on every protected resource, least-privilege access and audit logging. These protections are strict for all users and are applied identically to the free plan and to every paid plan. See our Security page.

10. Account deletion and termination

You may stop using the service at any time and delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your career profile, applications, generated documents, usage history and uploaded files. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that pose a security risk to the service or other users.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or attempt to circumvent usage quotas or rate limits; use the service to generate content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes the rights of others; attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service; or resell access to the service without our written permission.

12. Third-party services

Sign-in is provided by Google and LinkedIn, payments by Stripe, AI generation by a secured model provider, and aggregate usage measurement by Google Analytics. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

13. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResmiAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including lost opportunities in job applications. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
